Amity Mercado is a senior executive, entrepreneur, and construction industry veteran with over 15 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Financial Consulting, Accounting, Leadership, and Operations. She is a confident team builder with excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Combined with her in‐depth knowledge and passion for accounting technology, this has made her a trusted advisor in many of her relationships.

Amity serves as the new Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer of nFusion Capital, LLC, a lending company that provides cash flow, collections and financial reporting compliance solutions to growing companies. She brings a wealth of knowledge in the areas of capital acquisition, risk analysis, and accounting systems and technology. Her creative problem‐solving skills and unique expertise and specialization in the construction and professional services sectors have been instrumental in the company’s exponential growth.

Small‐medium businesses are the cornerstone of our American economy. Amity is passionate about driving value through strategic management and ensuring strong financial systems and controls to help these businesses succeed. She is an entrepreneurial thinker who excels at creative solutions for value enhancement. She has a proven track record of developing and improving business processes that result in increased efficiencies and cost savings. Her extensive experience and skillful leveraging of technology to manage expenditures, optimize working capital, and increase business efficiency and performance have benefitted numerous small‐medium sized businesses across many industries.

Prior to joining nFusion, Amity worked with a national supplier/retailer based in Austin with an annual revenue of $10 million. She was brought on board as a consultant to address financial reporting and operational challenges. She created SOPs for operations and accounting processes. While there, she worked closely with their IT department to create APIs that would streamline and connect their inventory management system with national retailers like The Home Depot, Amazon.com, and Wayfair.com to automate, receive and fulfill orders.

Amity’s entrepreneurial career began in middle school after the local city council voted against offering a recycling program, in spite of much interest expressed by its residents. Passionate about environmental preservation, she saw a need to fulfill. With her parents support, Amity developed and implemented a creative solution for a successful private recycling program for her small Texas hometown. Inspired by this foundational success, Amity’s entrepreneurial spirit continued to grow and thrive.

In 2008, she founded and continues to operate Countify Consulting, LLC, a financial consulting firm that implements automation software to assist in the accounting information process. Countify Consulting was named in the top 20 of Austin Bookkeepers by Expertise.com for 2017 and 2018. Amity has developed key relationships with business owners in Austin and trains annually to stay on top of emerging technology and accounting processes.

Amity lives in Austin, TX with her husband, two children, and their dog. She is a member of and co‐treasurer for the Rotary Club of Northwest Austin, a charter of Rotary International. Apart from her work and volunteering, Amity is an avid reader, has a passion for a healthy environment and enjoys outdoor activities including camping, swimming, and running.
