Own your own experience
“It is not what we do, but also what we do not do, for which we are accountable.” – Moltere.
Happy New Year! It’s the time of year that many people make resolutions and set goals for a better year. I’m going to double down on something that has been a part of nFusion’s core values since day one – owning my own experience. Though challenging at times, taking responsibility is one of the most impactful things you can do to improve your life. Here’s what nFusion’s core value says about it:
“Own Your Own Experience. We each will take responsibility for our collective experience – how we want to treat our clients, how we want to treat each other, and how we conduct each and every customer touch point. If we don’t love it, we have to change it.”
It is meant to promote a proactive and accountable approach to create collective positive experiences and make necessary changes when it’s not quite right.
So I’m re-committing myself to acknowledge that my choices and behaviors have consequences and that I am accountable for them. My and my colleagues’ actions and attitudes contribute to the overall collective experience of our group and workplace culture. Our actions and attitudes also impact the customer experience.
My promise for 2024 and beyond:
- Treat our clients with the respect, empathy and professionalism that is crucial for building and maintaining positive relationships.
- Treat my colleagues in a positive and respectful manner, which is essential for productivity and long-term employee well-being.
- Handle each interaction with care.
Sometimes this work is really hard, and it’s really important to be supportive of each other. And sometimes, our selves are the only thing we have the power to change.
