Daniel J. Karas is the Executive Vice President of Asset Based Lending of nFusion Capital, responsible for overseeing the nationwide asset based lending team and supporting the overall ABL growth strategy. An industry veteran with over 35 years of commercial lending experience, Dan has a proven track record of developing and implementing strategic growth, credit enhancement, and acquisition integration plans across a broad range of debt products, geographies, and industries. He cultivates robust client and referral relationships while fostering a culture of excellence within the asset based lending team.

Throughout his career, Dan built high-performing teams and drove the expansion of national commercial lending platforms for market-leading organizations. He most recently served as Chief Credit Officer of C2FO Capital Finance and Executive Vice President of Axiom Bank, where he led the Allied Affiliated Funding Division. He previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer of TBK Bank, SSB, where he led a $3.6 billion commercial lending platform. During his tenure at TBK Bank, he integrated seven bank acquisitions, launched three commercial finance platforms, improved credit quality, and served in a corporate governance role, representing the organization in the analyst and investor community. He held executive leadership positions at financial institutions in Texas and New York, including Marquette Financial Companies, GE Energy Financial Services, JPMorgan Chase, and Bank of America, among others.

Dan serves on the board of directors for Woodrock & Co., a Texas-based middle market investment bank and advisory firm. He is active in trade associations, including the Association for Corporate Growth and Turnaround Management Association. Additionally, he serves on the board and was a former Executive Committee member of SFNet. He earned his MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and his BBA with a concentration in Management and Finance from Temple University.
